About My Art Journey

I began my art journey in high school and later studied Fine Arts at university. My early work was predominantly in oils, focusing on traditional landscapes and seascapes.

 

Since retiring in 2022, I’ve been exploring fluid art mediums and alcohol inks, which offer greater freedom of expression. These mediums have reignited my passion for painting.

 

I’m drawn to the rich, vibrant colours of acrylic pours and inks. I love the watery, willowy forms reminiscent of water, clouds, fiery eruptions, and moody atmospheres. I’m inspired by how colour evokes different feelings for everyone, and I invite viewers to feel for themselves.

 

Nature continually inspires me, especially the way light plays across the sea and clouds. I’m exploring modern mediums and techniques to make my art sing with colour and emotion.
